Thursday Evening 8 Week Wheel Throwing Course

he 8-week course (adult only) is designed to help you feel completely comfortable in the studio and confident on the wheel. Each class is 3 hours long, so we have plenty of time to practice, ask questions, and really settle into the process. We’ll cover cylinders, mugs, bowls, plates, lidded forms, plus decorating, carving, trimming, attachments, and glazing it will be a full foundation so you can truly grow your skills. Week 1: Intro to the studio, wheel, wedging/clay prep Week 2: Cylinder Bootcamp! Mugs/Cups/vases/planters Week 3: Bowls/Plates Week 4: Trimming Weeks 5–6: Personal Projects-carve, decorate, paint, sculpt, ect. Week 7: Glazing Week 8: Grind and sand pots or finish glazing. Then Celebrate your amazing finished pieces! This path focuses on building strong fundamentals while gaining confidence on the wheel and in the studio. Thursday's from 5PM-8PM * THERE WILL BE NO CLASS APRIL 22, 2026 class will resume APRIL 29TH*
